Through these pages, you will discover the first pharmaceutical manufacturing plant of Gabon, inaugurated in February 2005 in the presence of several African head of states.

Its purpose? Fight against the 3 great pandemics which are: HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria, and doing so by supplying to Central African markets high quality products at affordable prices.

News release

February 2007 : the SOGAFAM is celebrating its second birthday of existence! The 30 members of the personnel organized an evening outing to celebrate this event. Several days later, a pharmacist and a technician flew off to Belgium to get further training during two months within the Propharex structures.

December 2006 : the President of Senate, René Radembino-Coniquet, honors the SOGAFAM with a visit.

April 2006 : the SOGAFAM launches its production of ARV drugs! You can order immediately: nevirapine 200 mg, didanosine 200 mg, combination Lamivudine 150 mg – stavudine 40 mg. All these drugs are available in the form of capsules. Also available, weekly blister packs of tri-therapy: Lamivudine 150 mg – stavudine 40 mg – nevirapine 200 mg.
